April 15th

It has been a long time coming but today is the day I leave the house to make my way to St Jean Pied de Port for my starting point on the Camino. This is a classical picture of the first step outside of the house.

Andy, Mom, John and I take the ride up to the airport together. We had time for a couple of pictures at the Arcata airport.

I made it to my hotel for the night at LAX just fine. First day of the journey is well underway.
